Hi guys. As I've mentioned before, despite starting off well I've kind of hit a wall. I'm wondering if it's down to portion size?

Anyone got any tips on how to make sure I'm not eating too much, even if it is the 'right' food.

Don't skip meals, ever. If you skip a meal, you're far more likely to over-estimate what you need to eat.

The only way I know is to weigh and measure everything. I know it's a drag, but I know for a fact I massively underestimate quantities if I don't.

Aw, I knew someone was going to say weigh and measure. I know I'm gonna have to start doing it...I just don't want to. :(

You can use rule of thumb, Jen. You just have to be honest with yourself!

Download a serving size card. They have pictures on them that show you how to estimate portion sizes.

Oh, I've never seen one of those before. That's really helpful - thank you!

It's a win/win for me. If I have to weight everything I end up not doing it. Being able to make an educated guess is far better than nothing.
