Hello everyone!

I'm new to this group and looking forward to learning and, most importantly, losing weight! Right now I'm really struggling with my low carb diet. A medication I take has as it's major side effect weight gain. I've lost about 9 lbs. but now I'm stuck, no matter how hard I try. I don't relish the idea of having to buy all new summer clothes because of my weight. I already had to buy all new clothes for winter. I'm looking for suggestions!

There are sometimes different medications for the same thing with different side effects. Also some generic that you can check out had the same problem with 3 of mine.

I was diagnosed in 2014 with psychotic episodes, better put paranoid psychophrenia . I was put on anti psychotic meds and with that comes belly fat. I had read up on medications I was taking to much additives switched to injections stopped taking pain meds and anything that I could live without and replace them with meditation and herbal treatment
I ate salmon, 1 cup cali mix veggies and, 1/4 cup of long grain white rice every night rotate with boneless skinless chicken breast all baked. Fiber cereal with whole milk in the morning, toast with peanut butter. Turkey sandwich in the afternoon and lots of water or cucumber and acv tea during the day.
